1. Go to MyPhotoID.uci.edu and log in using your UCInetID.
2. Choose Upload Your Photo from the left menu
3. Submit photo of your government-issued ID as a supporting document. Government-issued ID examples: passport, driver license or a state-issued ID
4. Next, upload the photo for your UCI ID. Your photo should resemble a passport photo. More guidelines and examples are below.
5. After selecting "Upload Photo", you will be taken to the crop page. Make sure your photo follows cropping guidelines and hit "Save Photo".
6. Your submission will be reviewed within 48 hours. You will receive an email when your photo is approved/denied.

Your photo will be approved or denied 24-48 hours after submitting (not including weekends and holidays). You will receive an automated email whether it has been approved or denied. In order to make sure your photo is not denied please watch the submission video and review guidelines.

We only print First/Preferred Names and Last Names provided by the registrar. If you’d like to edit your name, please visit the Registrar to update your preferred name.
No. Physical cards may be kept for now, but we do plan on switching to 100% mobile in the future. If you would like to use a mobile ID instead of your physical ID, please contact CardServices@uci.edu . Mobile ID works like your physical card, but you don’t have to worry about misplacing it!
You may only have only one ID. If you are receiving an ID after June 1st 2023 this ID will be mobile. If you do not have a smartphone you will need to contact CardServices@uci.edu .
